LED Phototherapy

LED phototherapy is a non-invasive treatment, suitable for all skin tones. It uses specific wavelengths of light to treat a variety of skin conditions, such as acne and eczema, as well as muscle and joint problems. Using light-emitting diodes (LEDs), it delivers light energy to the skin, which helps to reduce inflammation and promote healing.

For our LED Phototherapy treatments here at Renegade, we have the market leading Dermalux® Flex MD. Not only is it 3 times more powerful than other portable LED devices, it is British made, FDA approved and medically CE certified, meaning you can rest assured you are receiving the safest and best quality treatment available.

The Dermalux® Flex MD delivers the three most clinically proven wavelengths, backed by science:

  • Blue light – this treats the uppermost layer of the skin and is ideal for treating spots, as it helps to destroy acne-causing bacteria
  • Red light – this is anti-inflammatory and stimulates the production of collagen and hydration in the skin
  • Near infrared light – this penetrates further into the skin so it can treat muscle injuries and bone disorders and help with pain relief
Dermalux® is the only device in the world that can deliver all three wavelengths simultaneously – look out for their famous pink light!
